Aftercare
Second skin- If all is well , remove wrap in 2-4 days. its best to take it off in the shower. Remove bandage immediately if water gets underneath or if the skin is sensitive and show signs of irritation. It will get blurry under the wrap because of bodily fluids but its totally normal, you can keep the wrap on as long as water isn’t underneath.
Plastic wrap - Keep on for 2-3 hours
After removing bandage wash the tattoo with antibacterial soap. Then pat the tattoo dry with a paper towel and apply a thin layer of ointment. Apply the ointment whenever you feel as though its getting dry. Repeat this for the next 3-4 days then switch out the ointment for unscented lotion. It takes about 2 weeks for the tattoo to fully heal and settle in, sometimes faster depending on the piece. Avoid direct sunlight , chlorine pool, and the beach before the tattoo fully heals. Always apply sunscreen on your tattoos.
